What stays with you
AShift stores your last 30 rituals and sound preference in this browser's local storage. A ritual may include the date, starting mood, desired mood, re-check mood, chosen visuals, reflection word, intention, and whether you used words or dots.
There is no account or AShift cloud backup for this history. Another device, browser, or website address has its own separate history. Clearing site data can erase it; we cannot restore it.
When you describe it in words
When you press “find my ritual,” your two descriptions are matched against a word list built into the app, entirely in your browser. No server, gateway, or AI provider receives them. They are not saved; only the resulting ritual is stored in your local history, marked as started from words.
This matching is an approximation for choosing a visual, not a diagnosis.
No mood-data training collection
AShift does not collect your ritual history, reflections, or intentions for model training, including aggregate training datasets. This app does not install advertising pixels or send your mood history to Meta.
Other services and technical data
Hosting services receive technical information such as your IP address and request details when you visit. Fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives a font request. Opening a research link takes you to a separate website with its own privacy practices. Visiting from Instagram is also subject to Meta's policies.
This notice does not claim that website visits are anonymous or that infrastructure logs do not exist.
Control your device data
Anyone with access to this browser profile may be able to see your history. Local storage is not an encrypted vault. Use a private device or browser profile if you share a device.
You can delete AShift's saved history and sound preference below, or clear this site's data in your browser settings. This cannot erase requests already processed by external services.
Privacy changes
If AShift introduces accounts, mood-data collection, or ad tracking, this notice and the choices shown before collection must change. Local history will not silently become a training dataset.
Wellness, not medical care
AShift is an evidence-informed wellness ritual, not diagnosis, treatment, or emergency support.
